New Parking Management / Towing CompanyShadowood has terminated its parking-management service agreement with Henry's and has contracted with JDR Towing for an array of parking-management services including towing unauthorized vehicles. As always, Shadowood strictly enforces parking rules. Towing and immobilization efforts are used, as are video recording and monitoring. Renovators and Bargain-Hunter’s Delight The Northern Virginia Habitat ReStore, located at 7770-A Richmond Highway, Alexandria, VA is a resale business that sells new and used building materials and home improvement items to the general public. All materials are donated by local retail businesses, building contractors, suppliers and individuals, and are made available to the public at 50- 90% below retail prices.
As word of the ReStore has spread, the store has been overwhelmed by the generosity of donors in our community. The 16,000 square-foot warehouse is filled with hundreds of brand-new and almost-new refrigerators, dishwashers, and other appliances; top-of-the-line carpet and tile; hundreds of gallons of paint; never-used cabinets, windows, doors; and much, much more. The ReStore is a bargain-hunter’s dream!
Are you renovating your home? The ReStore gladly accepts gently used materials for resale. Convenient pickup service is available.
Are you available to volunteer your time to collect donations, run the cash register, or stock shelves? If so, the ReStore needs a steady supply of volunteers to make the ReStore a success.

Based on preliminary analysis, the committee is recommending a 5 percent increase in condominium assessments. The majority of this increase funds reserves and several new programs (pest control; office-technology upgrade, community center furnishings, and larger activities budget).
