Neighborhood
Watch Revived March 2008!
Dear Shadowood Unit Owner/Resident:
SCA is in the process of restarting our Neighborhood Watch program. The Board
spoke with the Fairfax County Police about getting this program back on track
and we plan on having a community meeting with the police department in the near
future. At this meeting, a representative from the Fairfax County Police
Department will give a presentation on the program, describe what we can expect
from the program and what is expected of the participants, and will also answer
any questions we may have.
If you are interested in participating in the program, or just interested in
hearing more, please contact us at or call the SCA
office at 703-620-5444 and ask to be added to the list. Also, please let us know
whether you prefer a weekday or weekend meeting and what times are best for you.
Whatever time works best for most is when we will have the meeting, but we will
make sure we get the information to those unable to attend.
Aggressive
Driver Reporting Form
Below is the on-line Fairfax
County Aggressive Driver report form. All reports are anonymous and can be
reported on line. First-time offenders will get a warning letter from the
county. Repeat offenders get sterner letters and a visit from an officer.
This form can be used to report any aggressive drivers on public or private
property (including in the SCA parking areas).
