The following documents are standard rental contracts and documents consistent with Virginia law that may be freely used by landlords. With the exceptions of, Exhibit A and Exhibit B, all documents are provided as is with no representation by the Shadowood Condominium Association Board of Directors as to their accuracy or fitness for purpose. It is up to each landlord to use and edit these documents appropriately; seek competent counsel as necessary. Exhibits A and B are provided by Shadowood Condominium Association and must be included verbatim in all leases used on Shadowood property. For further details, see Second Amendment to the ByLaws and Third Amendment to the ByLaws. NOTE: All landlords should have the office staff review their prospective tenants' applications before signing any leases. As Shadowood was substantially constructed before 1978, federal law requires that leases include a lead-based paint addendum. To view or print these documents, click on the document's title.
